In this video we will cover common exercise tips for wrist discomfort with pushups to avoid wrist pain when doing a push up or any plank exercises. This entails not only alignment of the arms and hands but also working on exercises to strengthen weak wrists.
These Pilates Tips for beginners are also great if you are not a beginner and have reoccurring pain and discomfort while working out.
The one piece of equipment I think you should have at home for a Pilates class is a proper Pilates mat with a lot of cushion. I mentioned this is another video but I my wrists were starting to bother me on my old mat and this never happened before. When I moved into my new space, I purchased a new mat and the wrist pain vanished. So if you are using a very soft Pilates mat, it may not be providing you enough support for the exercises.
